Machine Operators | Day Shift | $43/hr | Sunshine

Looking for a long-term opportunity with a leading steel manufacturer?

We’re seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our client’s team in Sunshine. If you have experience in steel manufacturing with overhead gantry crane experience/license we want to hear from you!

What’s on Offer

• $43.91 per hour Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Full-time hours
• Overtime available

Your Duties

• Operate Shear Line, Bar Bending and Off Coil machines
• Operate overhead gantry cranes and mobile plant
• Read job cards and production schedules
• Monitor product quality and machine performance
• Troubleshoot and make basic machine adjustments
• Load, unload and move steel products safely
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all site safety procedures

What You’ll Need

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or steel environment
• Experience operating overhead gantry cranes and mobile plant (highly desired)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Australian Permanent Resident or Australian/New Zealand Citizen with unrestricted work rights (temporary visas are not suitable for this role)
