Maintenance Fitter

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs effectively, utilizing your technical expertise.
• Collaborate with operators and other team members to ensure smooth functioning of the machinery and address any issues promptly.
• Utilize Maximo CCMS to log and track maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures, including working with heights and confined spaces.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and other departments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualifications as a Maintenance Fitter.
• Proven experience in scheduled and breakdown maintenance, with a strong emphasis on fault-finding skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments is an advantage.
• Restricted electrical qualifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency with Maximo CCMS or similar systems is preferred.
• Valid qualifications in working with heights and confined spaces.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with operators and other team members.
• Commitment to promoting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Available Positions

1. **Rotating Shift Fitter**

– Three week rotating roster:

– Week 1: 2 x days/2 x nights

– Week 2: 3 x days

– Week 3: 3 nights
