About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter/Technician. Based at our clients Condell Park site, the successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team to troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime. The primary responsibility of the role will be to maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.

This is a Permanent Position.
Hours are 6.30am – 2.30pm (Mon – Fri).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and improve machinery uptime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to address maintenance needs efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Performing general plant and building maintenance work.

 
Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing setting.
  • Motivated worker with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Welding Experience – Mig Tig
  • Machining / Turning experience.
  • Refrigerant Gas experience will be highly regarded.
  • Basic computer skills – Microsoft suite and Preventative Maintenance system.
  • Forklift License preferred but not essential.
  • Restricted Electrical License preferred.
