The Opportunity
We’re seeking experienced and passionate Mechanical Fitters to become a vital part of the team. In this hands-on role, you’ll keep production running smoothly by ensuring equipment is maintained, reliable, and ready to meet demanding schedules. Beyond the technical know-how, you’ll play a role in fostering a culture of safety and knowledge-sharing, helping to mentor and guide team members.

Day Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $63.59 + 16% super + income protection
Ongoing position with view to permanency

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and mechanical systems
• Working across pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmissions, and drive lines
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimise downtime
• Installing, aligning, and assembling critical mechanical components
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Driving a strong safety-first culture and ensuring housekeeping standards are upheld

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter
• Solid background in maintenance and heavy manufacturing environments
• A hands-on problem solver with strong technical skills and an eye for detail
• A great communicator who thrives in a team-based environment but can also work independently
