We’re on the lookout for an experienced National Permanent Recruitment Manager to lead, grow and evolve our Permanent Recruitment Division.
Based in Melbourne, this role offers national scope and the opportunity to shape the future of a high-potential business arm.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our Permanent Division.
This is a hands-on leadership role that will see you managing a small, capable team while actively driving business development and delivering high-quality recruitment services across a broad client base and role types—from entry-level to executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support a small team of Permanent Recruitment Consultants.
- Drive business development and negotiate commercial terms with new clients.
- Deliver exceptional consulting services with a strong focus on new client acquisition.
- Personally manage a portfolio of recruitment assignments across various industries and levels.
- Streamline and enhance internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure national compliance standards are met and maintained.
- Play a key role in growing our national permanent recruitment footprint.
- Use and optimise recruitment technology, including JobAdder and MS Office Suite.
About You
You’re a seasoned recruitment professional with a passion for permanent placements and a strong track record in agency settings.
You understand the fast-paced nature of recruitment and enjoy juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
With strong commercial acumen, high emotional intelligence, and proven people leadership skills, you’re ready to take ownership of a division and take it to the next level.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in Permanent Recruitment within an agency environment
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, client-focused approach with strong business development capabilities
- Proven success in managing people and leading teams
- Solid understanding of recruitment systems (JobAdder experience highly regarded)
- The ability to manage multiple projects with composure and clarity
- A hands-on leadership style with the confidence to work autonomously and make decisions
Previous experience with leading and managing RPO is highly desirable.
