Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking motivated and reliable people to join a well-established Australian business in the timber industry.

Whether you have experience in manufacturing, warehousing or timber or you’re looking to learn something new, full training is provided!

We have multiple ongoing opportunities available for Jig Operators and Pick Packers, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a supportive team environment.

Jig Operator

You’ll be responsible for:

• Operating timber machinery and saws
• Performing manual handling and production tasks
• Using hand and power tools
• Following workplace safety procedures
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised

Pick Packer

You’ll be responsible for:

• Picking and packing timber products and timber sheets
• Manually loading trucks and vehicles
• Reading and following paper pick sheets
• Operating a forklift, where appropriately licensed

Shift Times

Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Saturday overtime: Available when required

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who are:

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
• Available to work full-time hours
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Australia
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Willing to learn – no previous timber experience is required
• Comfortable using basic tools and equipment
• Mechanically and technically minded
• Forklift licensed – desirable, but not essential
