Immediate Start | Full-Time Hours | Up to $63.55/hr + 16.5% Super + Overtime

Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Plant Machine Operators for an immediate start with a leading steel manufacturing and recycling business.

This is a casual position offering full-time hours, ongoing work, and excellent earning potential through regular overtime and weekend work. Day and afternoon shifts available.

About the Role
Working in a busy steel recycling yard, you’ll be responsible for safely operating a variety of plant equipment to move, sort, load, and process recyclable materials.

This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone who is physically fit, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a dirty industrial environment.

Required Plant Experience & Licences
You must have proven experience operating:

• Excavator
• Skid Steer
• Front-End Loader

Highly Desirable

• Telehandler experience
• Current Forklift Licence
• Experience using a forklift with a grab attachment

Preferred Industry Background

• Candidates with experience in the following industries are encouraged to apply:
• Metal recycling
• Waste management, recycling facilities or landfill operations
• Civil construction
• Earthmoving or heavy plant operations

Mandatory Requirements

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted work rights
• Current 11m EWP Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required

What’s on Offer

• Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm – $55.26 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm – $63.55 per hour
• 16.5% Superannuation
