Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Production / Forklift Operator to join a busy industrial operation based in Karratha.

This is a hands-on role combining forklift operation, warehouse duties, order preparation and general production work. You’ll be working in a safety-focused outdoor environment, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with physical work and the conditions of the Karratha region.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Operating forklifts to safely load and unload trucks
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Scanning inbound and outbound deliveries
• Sorting empty gas cylinders
• Manual handling and general yard duties
• Completing basic calculations and paperwork
• Assisting with basic equipment maintenance
• Filling industrial gases and LPG following training
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following all site safety procedures and requirements

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence
• Previous forklift, warehouse, production or yard experience
• Confidence operating a forklift in an industrial environment
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to complete regular manual handling
• Basic numeracy skills
• Strong focus on workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn gas filling and other site operations

Working Environment

This is a hands-on role working predominantly within an outdoor yard environment. Applicants must be comfortable working in Karratha weather conditions and undertaking regular manual handling throughout the shift.
