About The Role:
This role has been created to oversee compliance across technician qualifications and certifications. The aim is to ensure all required credentials are tracked, logged into the system, and ready for audits.
This role supports the Equipment Service team by ensuring consistent service delivery, high-quality standards, and continuous improvement. It focuses on optimising systems, processes, and procedures for efficiency, compliance, and usability—ultimately enhancing the customer experience. The role also improves access to critical information for Customers, Technicians, Administrators, and Sales Teams, and contributes to customer offers (e.g. tenders) and larger service projects. Success will be measured by stakeholder adoption and effective use of the systems, processes, and content delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Service Tech Matrix and Service Admin Matrix, which assess individual performance and determine remuneration levels.
- Evaluate proficiency across five key areas, with ratings from 1 (basic understanding) to 5 (proficient).
- Support Team Leaders (TLs) in using these matrices to benchmark technician levels. We conduct formal reviews every six months.
- Address current gaps where TLs are not consistently updating or providing accurate information for new hires.
- Coordinate certification tracking (e.g., radiation safety, white cards) and ensure compliance across all technicians.
- Attend fortnightly TL meetings to monitor compliance and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Liaise with state bodies to organise training and coordinate with our Service Admin Team Leader for communication and compliance updates.
- Be proactive in managing documentation and ensuring visibility of training and compliance across the team.
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Patient and resilient under pressure.
- Strong project management experience.
- Familiarity with QMS (Quality Management Systems).
- Process-oriented and attention to detail-focused
- Experience in training coordination and compliance tracking.
- Able to support both technicians and admins with training and resources.
