Recycling Picker – Immediate Start | Day Shift | Ongoing Work

About the role:
Working within a recycling yard, you will be responsible for sorting and processing steel and metal materials on a conveyor line. This is a physically active role suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team.

Day to day duties include:

• Sorting recycled steel and metal products from a conveyor system
• Identifying and separating materials safely and efficiently
• General manual handling duties
• Assisting with site cleanliness and maintaining a safe work environment
• Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets

The successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a labouring, recycling, or industrial environment (preferred)
• Strong safety focus and awareness
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Reliable transport and strong attendance record
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Shift Times:
Day Shift

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
• Overtime available as required
