Resourcing Team Leader

Zoom Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Resourcing Team Leader to lead and develop a team of resourcers within the fast-paced blue-collar labour hire industry.

Based in Huntingwood, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on recruitment leader who thrives in a high-volume environment, understands the urgency of labour hire, and knows how to deliver quality candidates while maintaining strong compliance standards.

You will play a key role in managing the daily resourcing operation, ensuring candidates are recruited, assessed, compliant and ready to work across a range of blue-collar roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate and support a small team of resourcers, setting clear expectations and driving daily recruitment targets.
• Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment: Oversee candidate attraction, screening and selection to meet ongoing labour requirements.
• Candidate Bookings: Manage and coordinate candidate bookings, availability and shift allocations, ensuring labour requirements are filled efficiently and accurately.
• Interviews & Screening: Coordinate and conduct candidate interviews to assess suitability, experience, reliability and availability.
• Physical Assessments: Organise and oversee physical assessments including Drug and Alcohol tests to ensure candidates are capable of safely performing the duties required for their assigned roles.
• Compliance & Onboarding: Ensure all candidates complete the necessary compliance checks, documentation and onboarding requirements to provide job ready candidates to our Account Management team.
• Workforce Planning: Monitor labour requirements, candidate availability and upcoming demand to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement effective processes and procedures to improve recruitment efficiency, candidate quality and compliance standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment, labour hire or high-volume workforce resourcing.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, people management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating interviews, candidate bookings and physical assessments.
• A strong understanding of recruitment compliance, onboarding and employment documentation.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a demanding operational environment.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on accountability, teamwork and results.
• Confidence using recruitment systems, databases and workforce management tools.
