Their Sunshine operation forms part of a large national manufacturing network, with a strong focus on safety, operational performance and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor / Safety Business Partner to join our client’s manufacturing site in Sunshine.

This is an initial 6-month casual, temp-to-perm opportunity, offering $65-$70 per hour inclusive of casual loading, depending on experience.

You will work closely with site leaders, contractors and frontline workers, providing practical, hands-on safety support across a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership across the site
• Support safety systems, processes and compliance
• Assist with risk assessments, isolation plans and operational risk management
• Support safety requirements for new machine commissioning
• Coach workers on hazard management, event reporting, inspections and safety observations
• Deliver safety training including isolation, contractor management and load restraint
• Support site safety meetings and training compliance
• Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and engagement

About You

• Previous safety experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
• Certificate IV in WHS or relevant Health & Safety qualification
• Experience supporting safety systems, risk assessments and hazard management
• Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
• Confident engaging with frontline workers and site leaders
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded
