Sales Assistant – Kalgoorlie

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to join our client in Kalgoorlie, working approximately 38 hours per week. This is a varied, hands-on role offering full-time hours within a supportive team environment.

The position would suit someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working with trade and industrial customers and is happy to assist across sales, warehousing and yard duties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver outstanding customer service in-store, over the phone and via email
• Assist trade and industrial customers with product advice and sales
• Receive, dispatch and manage stock while maintaining product displays
• Support promotions, upselling and product demonstrations
• Safely handle gas cylinders and assist with yard and forklift duties
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant store and warehouse environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a busy retail/trade environment
• Good attention to detail and strong time-management skills
• Basic computer skills, with SAP experience advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
• Two recent and satisfactory references
• Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Experience within industrial, trade, warehousing, welding or safety products is desirable, however full training will be provided to the right candidate
