About Our Client
Our client is a global manufacturing company and market leader in their field. We are working on their behalf to recruit a Sales Manager for their Victoria Business Unit based in Dandenong.
About The Role:
As Sales Manager for the Victoria business unit, you will lead the business unit sales function, develop and execute the sales strategy and sales plan, and manage the resources and activities to deliver on our business unit objectives, sustainable growth, revenue, margin, profit, and cash flow targets.
To achieve this, with your deep experience of the entire sales process, you will build, lead, inspire, and coach high-performing sales professionals who are industry and product experts, masters at relationship management, and deliver optimal customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Unit Leadership: The Sales Manager holds responsibility for delivering the strategy, performance, safety, and culture within their business unit
- Developing Sales Strategies: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans and tactics to achieve sales, pricing, and revenue growth targets, to meet the business unit objectives.
- Leading and Managing the Sales Team: Providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, developing, and performance management.
- Setting Sales Targets and Objectives: Establishing clear sales goals and targets aligned with the company’s overall objectives and growth strategy.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Analysing market trends, customer needs, and sales data to forecast sales projections, allocate resources effectively, and plan sales activities.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generating regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends, and conducting analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts, share insights, and support overall business objectives
- Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
About You

- A proven track record of Sales Leadership within the Manufacturing industry is essential.
