Senior Warehouse Operator

Our client is a successful national company that are currently looking to add an experienced Senior Warehouse Operator to join their professional team. 
 
About the role
  
This is a permanent role. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be to:
  

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate all warehouse functions for our Victorian Warehouse
• Pick and pack orders
• Loading/unloading of trucks and staging Customer orders
• Stock management
• Unloading containers
• Co-ordinate staff in the warehouse in-line with planned activities
• Help resolve any arising warehouse problems or complaints
• Comply with OH&S standards within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean warehouse

  Additional tasks may be required as necessary which may include:

• Assist with managing incoming calls, emails, and delivery enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with the sales team to offer a seamless and exception order process for customers
• Use internal system to fulfil Customer orders and manage order processing
• Assist coordination of Customer/Supplier local freight, with freight companies including receiving and dispatching of stock

Do you have what it takes?
  
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse role is essential.
• Forklift licence is essential
• Computer literacy is preferred
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with solution driven outcomes
• Knowledge of OH&S procedures
• The ability to build strong relationships across the business
