About The Role:
Based out of the companies Kalgoorlie site, the successful candidate will have the responsibility of undertaking service activity for both internal and external inquiries, along with warranty repair and diagnostics, project work and onsite service activities. Provide high quality service to customers and internal personnel to ensure the company’s presence and success in the market place.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To carry out service activity, repairs and maintenance for day to day customer requirements.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of workshop, service vehicles, equipment and tools as well as general housekeeping of the service area of the factory and yard at the branch, paying close attention to, and rectifying any areas that may have adverse health, safety or environmental impact.
  • Maintain a true and concise record of timesheets and company forms required as part of daily duties and use technology provided to the full extent requested as part of this role.
  • Work in accordance with current HSEQ regulations and NOV Australia ‘Health and Safety Policy’ at all times while on site or off site, and report all non- conforming situations that are identified, to the Health and Safety Officer via the Service Manager.
  • Comply to all company policies and procedures
  • Be available for flexible start and finish times and overtime due to the nature of the role and the customers’ requirements
  • Be available to travel to, and stay out on site if required, to complete service, repair or installation jobs.
  • Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary

About You:
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Must be Trade (Fitter) Qualified – Electrical or Mechanical
  • Solid experience in a similar Service/Operation management role is essential.
  • Outstanding customer service and professional communication skills.
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to organise and plan independently without distraction
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under Pressure
  • To maintain always a high level of professionalism, a positive attitude and demeanor supportive of the business and colleagues.
