Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Storeperson to assist with day-to-day warehouse activities efficiently. Our client is a market leader in the supply of pool cleaning supplies and chemicals. Join a local team with national reach.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Operate forklifts and other relevant machinery safely and according to company guidelines.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring that goods are handled with care to avoid damages.
  • Utilize RF scanners for inventory management, ensuring the proper updating of stock levels and locations.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain an organized and tidy warehouse.
  • Uphold safe working environments by following all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall productivity.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any warehouse issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not required.
  • A valid Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Ability to pass a clear Criminal History Check.
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and inventory software is advantageous.
  • Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of packages.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small warehouse team.
