We are currently seeking a Transport Allocator / Administrator / Customer Service professional to join a busy and growing transport and logistics operation based in High Wycombe and Hazelmere.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities and an interest in the transport and logistics industry. The position will initially offer flexible hours, with the potential to transition into an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Role

Working within a fast-paced transport environment, you will play an important role in coordinating daily operations and providing high-quality customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and allocating transport runs and deliveries
• Liaising with drivers, customers and internal teams
• Managing daily schedules and transport requirements
• Responding to customer enquiries and providing updates
• Data entry, administration and maintaining accurate records
• Monitoring deliveries and assisting with any operational issues
• Supporting the wider transport team with general administration
• Ensuring communication between customers, drivers and operations runs smoothly

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in transport, logistics, administration or customer service
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicating with customers and drivers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Confident using computers and transport/admin systems
• A positive team player with a proactive approach
• Previous experience in transport allocation or scheduling will be highly regarded
