Cold Storage Tugger Operators Wanted – Laverton

Zoom Recruitment is on the hunt for experienced Cold Storage Tugger Operators to join one of our valued clients in Laverton.

Our client is growing and looking for 10 reliable operators to join their team. If you’re an experienced tugger operator who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working in cold storage, we want to hear from you.

Your Day-to-Day

• Operating a tugger with a voice-picking headset
• Picking orders in a cold storage environment, including occasional work in the freezer (-23°C)
• Meeting productivity and KPI targets
• Working 10-12 hour shifts, with overtime available

What’s on Offer?

• AM Shift: Start between 2:00am-6:00am, finishing around 1:30pm
• PM Shift: Start from 1:30pm, finishing between 12:00am-2:00am
• AM: $40.72 per hour during training, increasing to $45.81 per hour after training
• PM: $46.83 per hour
• Pay increases after 3 and 6 months
• Friday to Monday roster
• Overtime opportunities available

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 6 months’ experience operating a tugger
• Availability to work Friday through Monday
• Availability to work Public Holidays and during peak periods
• Strong communication skills
• A reliable and committed work ethic with excellent attendance

Please note: This role is suited to candidates who are committed to turning up for every scheduled shift. Attendance is closely monitored by our client, and ongoing absenteeism or unreliability will not be accepted.
