Warehouse Co-Ordinator
The key responsibility of this role is coordinating warehouse activities along with other responsibilities including, supporting Warehouse Service Desk, managing reception services, supporting facilities and workplace health and safety initiatives, and general site maintenance requirements. By maintaining high site standards and streamlining operational processes, the role contributes significantly to the overall functionality and professionalism of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse:
o Load/unload vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
o Check inbound deliveries against consignment notes and notify teams of incoming goods or repairs requiring collection.
o Safely store received items as requested by teams.
o Send and consign outbound deliveries.
o Declare dangerous goods in compliance with transport regulations.
o Ensure effective and safe storage of inventory
o Support Warehouse Service Desk submission and triage requirements
o Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and ensure safe practices at all times.
- Reception Duties:
o Greet, and manage all visitors, staff, couriers, and contractors upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner.
o Maintain a visitor sign-in process and ensure all guests are accounted for.
o Assist site tours, and visitor queries.
o Support onboarding of new starters by conducting basic office/facility inductions.
- Facilities Management Duties:
o Act as the on-site point of contact for tradespeople, cleaners, and service contractors.
o Report and log maintenance issues; follow up on repairs as required.
o Maintain the site maintenance register
o Coordinate and support the ordering of supplies (e.g., stationery, kitchen, cleaning).
o Support minor facility troubleshooting (e.g., lighting, air conditioning, safety signage).
o Liaise with external vendors for office and building-related services.
- WHS & Security Duties:
o Act as the local WHS contact for the site.
o Support emergency procedures including evacuation drills and safety inductions.
o Monitor and report safety risks or incidents and assist with documentation.
o Be the nominated contact for security-related queries and access management.
Essential
- Strong organisational skills.
- High level of interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Competent with warehouse systems, data entry, and general office software.
- Must be capable of performing physical activities related to the role, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Understanding of WHS principles and procedures.
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
