About Our Role
Our client is a global manufacturing company and market leader in their field. We are working on their behalf to recruit an experienced Warehouse Storesperson for their site in Garbutt, Townsville.

7am – 3.06pm – Monday to Friday

Key Duties:

• Check incoming deliveries of materials and components to ensure they are according to order and received in good order and condition
• Maintain inventory integrity and bin location accuracy
• Physically monitor and count stock and reconcile with computer stock holding
• Assist with Annual Stocktake
• Print picking slips/delivery dockets for all outgoing goods
• Organise freight and courier companies to deliver goods
• Load customers, couriers and transport companies in a timely and efficient manner
• Receipt and process stock returns
• Checks storage racks and materials handling equipment at regular intervals to ensure storage and handling equipment is in safe and serviceable condition
• Regularly attend to all housekeeping duties in the areas for which you are responsible for and ensure they are well organised and clean & tidy at all times.
• Adhere to OH&S policies at all times and report any potential hazards immediately
• Other duties as required

  
Candidate Requirements:

• Current forklift license (Reach experience desired)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of role
• Good Computer skills
• Candidate must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Previous experience similar to duties shown above
