About Our Client
Our client works closely with a diverse range of companies, major truck dealerships and leasing companies to maintain their fleet of trucks and small plant equipment. They are a successful, privately owned business that is continuing to grow and expand. 

About The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will perform the following tasks:

• Routine service and maintenance on trucks and plant equipment
• Utilise your fault finding & diagnostics skills
• Attend field based break downs as required (you will have access to a company vehicle)
• Work well with a small and friendly team of qualified Diesel Mechanics and Apprentices.
• Ensure that your work area is kept clean and tidy
• Attend tool box meetings and make suggestions to improve the efficiency of the Workshop. 
• Ensure you work safely at all times and raise any safety concerns

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience working on trucks along with sound fault finding and diagnostics skills. 
• Current drivers license 
• Automotive trade qualification
• Good work ethic
• high attention to details with minimal rework
• Willingness to attend a pre employment medical including drug and alcohol screening 
• Ability to work Monday to Friday (38 hour week)

• $45 per hour + super + OT + allowances
